Ways to Search for A Classmate for Your Class Reunion Party

If you are having a tough time searching for a dear classmate of your for a class reunion party, you are not alone. Most of the people face the same difficulty and the advent of the Internet is a real stress relief in general with this regard. Even beginning it almost before a year before the planned date is not too early in your attempts to make sure that almost all your classmates are there in your reunion party.

Preparing a great list to search for the classmate you feel have to be present in your party

Social media can be great resources to get information on the classmate you are searching for. Even a search with the name in the popular search engines like Google can come up with the information you require. In the instance of a failure, contact your school. The school is sure to have a list and contact details of all those who have studied there.

A few more avenues to find your classmate

If you find all these attempts futile, you can post the name of the classmate in different websites and wait for information. Furthermore, contact all friends you managed to inform about your attempt and ask them if they would be in a position to assist you. A search in the websites of general class reunion programmers, the website of your school or searching in the online telephone directories too can go a long way in helping you to get informed about the one you are searching for. Contact the school faculty and ask them to post in the websites of their choice the name of your missing classmate. Remember to conduct a search in the area of your residence, may be the classmate you are searching might be staying just near you.

We live within five blocks of where my husband's class is having their high school reunion all these years later. He doesn't want to go. I know I don't want to go. I don't know any of those people. So if those classmates of long ago never find him, it's fine with us. I know many people like getting together with those old friends. He called high school "the pain factory" and simply doesn't want to go back.

We had a mini-high school reunion 2 years ago, and it was organized primarily through Facebook. It wasn't really difficult finding the people because a lot of them were on Facebook.

Facebook is the go to now when trying to find someone for sure. However, I haven't been to but one of my reunions. Although my high school years were fun, I was ready to move on with my life. I graduated on a Wednesday night and was in college on Monday morning, moved to the other side of the country when I graduated and didn't keep in touch with many of my classmates.
