    Anybody interestedin online teaching?

If you are interested in online teaching then there ar a number of sites which allow you to take classes . The only site that you can use without any payment is wiziq.com. Log in to it and you will find loads of assistance in learning the techniques.

I teach ESL online and I was able to find resources and learning tools online that were really helpful. I just browsed through the site you mentioned and it looks like it has a lot to offer. I saw some courses to help boost one's performance in language proficiency tests. I might suggest it to a student who is preparing for the TOEFL.

I've thought about teaching online but really I always pictured myself in the classroom in front of the students, so I'm opting to go the traditional route instead.

I know that I would not be a good online teacher. I like to interact with the kids in the classroom. I think most online classes are adults, I like to teach kids. I'm not saying I would never do it but it's not my preference.

I have always been curious on how to learn the skills needed to teach online. Thank you for sharing the link. I am not sure if I will ever make that jump, though. Is it possible to teach online, while you are teaching in school? A side job could always be helpful, and you could set aside the money for something special.

I don't think that teaching online would compare with actually being in the classroom and seeing your teaching efforts for yourself. It would be difficult to gauge this via online interaction. I would probably consider teaching online as a side job but not exclusively.

I have taken an online course and was not impressed. Although I did well, I missed that interaction with a live person. I do have a friend that teaches several classes online and she loves it. Many students prefer to study this way and many have no other alternative due to jobs and family.

I have taken a few online courses and qualified in our state to actually teach online. I love that students who want this option have access to it and can proceed at their own pace. I wonder, sometimes, if it's leaving out some of the things of value, but I'm sure it has benefits built into it the traditional classroom has difficulty providing.

Hey Joan, it's possible to teach online while you're teaching in school. Online teaching offers you complete flexibility to deliver lectures as and when you want.

I teach some online classes for our system and I really enjoy it. While it is true that it is not the same as teaching in the "traditional" classroom it does have benefits too. I may eventually swap to teaching all online classes so that more of my time can be spent with my own family.
