teach English overseas

We all know that to learn a foreign language it is best to live in a country where that language is spoken. A minimum of a month is usually required to familiarize oneself with the foreign environment. Because language travel (Sprachaufenthalte) is usually quite expensive, it makes sense to look for an alternative. One of those is to teach english overseas. A TEFL TESOL course will on completion provide you with a certificate that allows you to teach English as a foreign language. ITTO have a special offer at the moment, which before starting your TEFL TESOL course in Mexico you have the chance to get 25 hours of intensive language training at one of the finest Spanish schools in Mexico. The course is valued at $248 and therefore an excellent opportunity to get the best out of the TEFL course experience. The fact is that teaching english as a foreign language is a very good opportunity to live in various countries of the world, because English being the most spoken language in an international business environment there are always plenty of jobs for teaching English available. Other than that a TEFL certificate is a valuable qualification to have to show proficiency in English. Also, completing the course abroad in countries such as Mexico, it allows one to not only learn, but also have an unforgettable experience in one of the top holiday destinations in the world. And what better could you imagine than getting a useful qualification that will serve its purpose for a lifetime as well as living in a beautiful country with an exciting culture and a varied landscape that offers something for everyone.

Whatever, I just think teaching English overseas online would be a great carrer fashion in some Asia countries, like India, Japan and China. With the rich media based educational technology, instant messengers, online video meeting could be an advantage.

    just my personal opinion.

I think teaching a foreign language online is not as good as teaching it in classrooms- students like to see his/her clothes, the manners if he/she's a native speaker."My" Chinese kids love teachers and are very nice students. Well, my students are under 7 and can't be taught online.

I have taught ESL to Korea and Japanese students online. Today's technology has boosted online learning. Yahoo, Skype, and other voice-over-Internet Protocol service have made online learning possible and a very likely option for second language learners.

For a short time, I had ESL online classes with kids aged 8 to 10, and based on that experience I can say that it wasn't the best learning set-up. It was a real challenge to make the kids stay in front of the computer and make sure that they weren't clicking on other sites.

My best friend and her husband moved to Korea this year, to teach the English language to kids. Both of them were nervous at first, but love it now. I would like to do something like this in the future, but I am not ready now.

We have a friend who started out teaching English in China. He has since gone on to better and better jobs. Now he's back in the United States and works for a company in Boston making a tremendous amount of money. His China experience taught him more and made him a more sought-after employee than his efforts in China taught others.

I think teaching a foreign language online is a great option. The internet technology has opened doors to many opportunities for both teachers and students. Those who are passionate about teaching, they can teach students from across the world. For students, it offers the opportunity to learn from native speakers without going anywhere.
