If it worked there should be a little bear with building blocks under my name, hopefully I won't beops:
About AVTARS.
Many of you have written to ask me how to find avtars ; pictures that really are thumbnails ; and do not exceed 50x50 pixels.
The Avtars ; when you search for them are well hidden between dozens of religious sites.
The best way to get an avtar ; to be uploaded under your name is :
Find a picture, preferably a GIF ; maybe you;ll find one under the word-clipart section.
If not ; Copy any picture you like ; and save them ; on your harddisk.
Now ; for the piece that has caused problems ; getting the picture;s size down to 50x50.
(Or ; 34x50 etc. The point is ; no number must be above 50 ; meaning : an ordinary photo would be 50x38. ; so- look for square pictures !)
Let;s assume that everybody have Microsoft photo editor ,Paint shop pro or other ; similar editors. (Paint won't do)
Open the photo of your choice in the editor.
Choose picture-resize ; and type in 50 in the box with the highest number. (The other pixel-box will automatically change)
Save your changes ; maybe under a different name "Summer" may be saved as "Summer small"
Remember where the photo is ; it;s a drag searching for it when you shall upload !
Open the Teacherfocus.com and log in.
Choose profile ,go to the avtar control panel and ; find the small picture you just stored.
Click SUBMIT and
Bingo ! Next time around ; your "summer small" or whatever will appear under your name.(You may also choose to pick an avtar from the avtar-gallery at the bottom)
Good luck ; Avtars should tell a little about YOU. (I am from Norway ; therefore the map, I;ll bet Lesley likes horses ; or is from a place where riding is quite common. I am not sure whether David is a pirate ; but he looks like one etc;
Peace

Hi Catherine,
I just could not pretend I haven't noticed that - your teddy bear is so cute! And please, don't say again that you are not a techie... Who IS then? We all are learning something new on the way.
