No we don't really have problems with math fact fluency. How do you teach math facts now? We use a couple of different games, flash cards, and drills to help our students learn their math facts.

Well, basically worksheets, flashcards....I'm thinking that these kids don't have number sense. I have been looking at websites. I found one that encourages parents to help kids at home so I am going to share the site with parents to work on in the summer. I'm pretty excited..I am going to check on these kids in the fall to see if they have grown. I am open to other ideas...any magic tricks?

Make math a game or use math games, like math blaster. Most people hate math, but when you make it more fun than torture it's better. In early years in school, my mom (she home-schooled me) used the games. I wish college could have made it more fun! haha. I hate math in case you can't tell.
