    The Weighty Word Book

I haven't found any lesson plans on line for this great book - The Weight Word Book by Paul M. Levitt.
I teach In Class Support for 3rd & 4th grade and would love to utilize this book in some lessons.

Any one ever use this book ? If so, how?

I never heard of the book before so I looked it up on Amazon and found I could order a used copy for $138.97 with only a little white out on it. LOL

It looks like a great book. I have used Miss Alaineus: A Vocabulary Disaster by Debra Frasier with sixth graders. We made our own class book from it. Of course the words were no where near as challenging as the ones from your book, but hear is lesson plan for that book that you may be able to adapt.:

    WHAT???

I just bought it used last year on Amazon but paid less than $20 or $25 for it maybe even less than $20. I could look it up but I just got up ( 6:30am).

It is a great book and I believe it is out of print.......that is CRAZY the price they want for a used book. Guess it is getting popular.

I have it, but have never used it in an organized way.

I have read a page aloud now and then, and discussed it with my kids.
