Just finished my 1st year of teaching second grade, and need a new plan for my students to keep their writing organized. I used a binder system and it was awful... pieces lost, ripped, or never arriving into the binder. Plus having kids try to keep them in chronological order... not easy! I like the idea of a bound notebook (spiral, composition), but worry about students having enough room to write and edit. Any suggestions or idea on how to make this effective and efficient? Thanks!
