Our friend Spooky the dog had to go to the vet. He had this rather large tumor on his leg. Yesterday, he had it removed. As you can see, he is busy recovering.

Just an update. Spooky had to go back to the vet today, and he's staying overnight. His foot has remained swollen since Monday. We're hoping for the best right now....

So how is Spooky doing at this point? Hoping for the best! Zacchaeus has about three fatty tumors that size or larger. That's what makes him lumpy.

I am happy to report he is doing better. Apparently the sutures were too tight and that caused the flow of blood to stop. Once that was fixed, we had to wash it every day and he had to be fed pretty large doses of antibiotics. His foot is a bit stiff and the hair is mostly off it, but it is growing back. He is getting so he can jump up on the furniture again, although running and standing on his back feet are some things he does not do (yet). He did at least make Pet-of-the-month at the vet's office.
