Can you take SOME of your work home, say the peach cream cheese pie with a shortbread crust? I would be happy to take it off your hands if you like.

Teaching at the postsecondary level might suit you- go for it. I know I like my adjunct job (when the class makes, that is). If nothing else, you get the opportunity to make more $.

    That's awesome!

I love to cook (and eat!) - your job must be a lot of fun, but I think I would weigh a lot more if I had your job. (I would be taking my work home....)

You must be excited that so many things are coming together for you - yay!

Proposition 301 monies is not directly tied to AYP, unless the district deems it so. It is tied to teacher performance. Schools have to put together a plan that outlines goals teachers have to meet in order to earn the money. Every District's plan is different. Our teachers create our plan, and only one person has ever been denied the full pay. So, schools do not have to tie it to AYP.

Do you realize I'm spending nearly 20 hours a week at the gym? You keep making me so hungry! Now I've got a double hankering for Mexican and Greek, be gone!
