    I want to take YOUR course, David, and learn to make crème de champignon. If I took a course called "Introduction to Gourmet Cooking", I would be a little annoyed at making chili, which I already know how to make, and the idea of making microwave fudge and brownies is not gourmet--that's "Cooking for Rank Beginners". Good luck!

    Yankee chili is a casual dining food product. Real chili is an art form, at least in Texas.

    I've made cream of mushroom soup similar to your recipe. Didn't know there's supposed to be anything French about it.

    I just made some yogurt cheese from fat free yogurt. Looking for some interesting stuff to do with the whey. If you have some ideas, I would appreciate them. Thinkin' about sourdough starter myself.
