SAT PracticeTest

I would like to get feedback on SAT Test Prep website, http://www.satprepplan.com. The most interesting part about the site is the custom study plan creation tool. It works like this: students take the SAT practice test and then a custom prep plan is created for them based on their strengths, weaknesses, times to study, and time until the test. SAT Prep Plan also includes a bunch of practice problems, problem solving videos, SAT vocabulary, tips and other prep materials. Any feedback about the site I can get would be great.

    SAT PracticeTest

This year I found a way for kids to study for the SATs that I want to share. Feel free to steal this. I picked up four copies of the SAT board game (www.testprepugames.com) and set up a competition in the class. I lent them out on spares for my students as well as letting them play in class (limited – but as a reward for working hard). I also set up a “ladder” and students who won the game used those points to climb the ladder. If you reached the highest level I let them off the hook on an essay. Might have been a little carrot and stick approach – but it worked super well.
