    Geography Ideas

    I am currently in my fourth year teaching cultural geography and I have found that my text is very boring to the students. I am in the process of reviewing my class content and style to incorporate more projects and interesting presentations. Any good advise as to where I could find help? My areas of concentration are - Mideast, China and Japan, Australia and Oceania, and latin America.

    Hi Mike,

    Have you thought about contacting the respective embassies of some of the countries in those areas? An embassy can be a wonderful source for travel information, maps, and posters.

    You could also try visiting local travel agencies to see if you could get any of their old posters.

    If you're lucky, you'll be able to find foreign pen pals!
