Hello everyone! I am very glad to find such a wonderful forum. Now I will tell you my situation and hopefully get some advice. I am a teacher from Russia, I have Texas certification for English Language Arts and Reading 4-8 and ESL. I did pass exams for these certificates but I cannot imagine myself teaching English to native speakers, as far as ESL, I would love to do it but I think that you need to know Spanish. :? So I feel that I am in a circle and do not know how to get out. Now I am doing job which I do not like but afraid to change anything. My head is overloaded with concerns about knowledge of English, accent etc. I would like to know about teaching experience of people who came from other countries and any advice on what is possible to do in my situation is appreciated.
