I'm interested in implementing guided math in my 5th grade classroom next school year. I had success with using Math Menu (Marilyn Burns) on Fridays last year as a review. I'd like to combine the two (use math menu as an activity while I meet with small groups).

Any suggestions about how to introduce or train students for guided math? Any ideas on management of guided math?
