    Inclusion in math class

Hi: My name is carol and I am doing a research paper in my education class. I wish to find tips or methods to create success for my mainstreamed ADHD and mild LD students. I will be working in a secondary setting. I have read many books and articles on the subject and a lot of good suggestions have been brought up but I would like to know how a real-world setting works to accommodate these students.

I would greatly appreciate any recomendations you migh have. I hope to teach algebra to the 9th-11th grade.

    Thank You in advance
    Carol

    Hi carol,

I've taught several different types of math classes at the high school level and some have be inclussion. What I've learned from my experiences is that no matter what else happens, you need to have communication with the inclass support teacher. Communication is key. You both need to be on the same page as to what is going on in the class.

    I wish you luck.
Sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.
