Please help...

Hello, I'm in the process of getting certified to teach Middle School Math in Arkansas, but the problem is that my degree isn't in education and I have absolutely no teaching experience.

I have an interview on Thursday to teach Middle School Math. I was told that I need to bring a lesson plan with me. I'm scared. I need to know how to make a really great lesson plan and how to communicate it really well to these people. Any suggestions or advice or lesson plan donations are greatly appreciated.

    Here's a good one.

http://www.shodor.org/interactivate/lessons/pm3.html AND it addresses NCTM standards. Spend a bit of time on the NCTM site ( http://nctm.org/ ) reading 5-8 standards.

lots of good math stuff on the shodor site ( http://www.shodor.org/curriculum/ ) but I did want to help narrow it down for you since the interview is this week.

    Good luck!
