This is an interesting site

I found this browsing www.hybridmedicalanimation.com lots of interesting animations, could be helpful in understanding difficult concepts. They also have a cool calendar for sale.

Science With Mr. Noon

My name is Brendan Noon and I am a high school Physics teacher who is fortunate enough to be on Chicago’s Field Museum’s teacher’s advisory board and work as a Teacher Research assistant for Fermilab’s High Energy Physics Department. I am currently attempting to work with Fermilab’s Quarknet to create an online educational guide for Project ARISE (more commonly referred to as physics first) My main effort in creating a new physics curriculum is to include as much earth/space science as possible to meet Illinois State Science Learning Standards.

A preview of which can be seen at:

Some of the other fancy stuff I do can be viewed at:

I have developed science animation

I have been developing science animation for the site goalfinder.com, these are not small animation that you see elsewhere, most of them are in-depth and over 30 minutes long and quite a few of them are over an hour long.
We have taken a topic and covered it completely through animation.
For example atoms, I have contributed to creating complete concept about - "Journey from matter to atom", that wraps the layers of time to reach atom. There are many physics, chemistry, bio and technology animation also. lots of other free science animations for downloading
Look at it

Classzone has some great information for chemistry, too. For example, there are flash cards and powerpoints available for download.
