I've been teaching now for 27 years and I've never heard of neverstreaming. I would like to see it explained.....if you can.
I just interviewed with a school that will be adopting "Neverstreaming" into their special ed program. 1st, Has anyone heard of this? It is supposed to be like the reverse of mainstreaming. 2nd, has anyone had experience, success, or failure....![]()
I posted this also in the elementary ed just in case someone might have heard of it there, too.

Dianndra,
It is a program to help students before they need special ed services. I am not sure exactly how it works, the school is thinking of adopting it. I have seen on another website a connection to SFA (SuccessForAll) I am not sure if this school is thinking about that, though.
As a special ed teacher I would go into the classrooms of children that are low performing and in danger of being identified for sped services. The only thing that worries me, If I am being funded by Sped to do this or will I be out of compliance? I am curious about it.
Well, I've heard of SFA -- that's what Kentucky's schools do. But this neverstreaming is something I've never heard of. I'll have to do some research. Thanks for the reply.
