I am a teacher in Ohio and we were told that we had to do coursework to meet the highly qualified for spec. ed. I teach 5 core areas. I was talking with other people from other states and they can get their hours through collaborations with other teachers. Is anyone out there able to do this in your school district? If not how else are you meeting your hours besides classwork? Our state does not provide a test to take.
