No thank you. I don't think I'd take them if you paid me.
You see, I have my own personal set of 12 year old boys in one class. I put all the "boys" on the front row. Before, they were situated in such a way that I called them the Bermuda Triangle. Now I'm kicking myself. What was I thinking!?! Every giggle (they do, they giggle), every comment, every burb, slurp, animal noise, and other noises -- they are all right there within earshot, within view.
And I can hear my favorite response sooooo very well now, "But, what did I do?" innocently said.
I'm smiling, I love teaching, I do, I do like teaching, I do, really, I am smiling . . . :P
