Thread: Anyone ever heard about USAA national Honor Roll Award?

USAA is a very repuatable company based here in San Antonio, and while I have yet to be approached about nominating a student, I believe that if it is truly associated with the company, it is NOT a scam.

Before paying any fees, I would do some heavy research to make sure that it is in fact associated with the company. The fees may directly fund the scholarships they offer.

Well we got one through the school I work at for my one son. Looks like they sent them to all the honor roll kids. We , as teachers, we were asked to hand them out to certain kids.Then my HS son got one through the mail, that actually had the teacher who nominated him, it was a guidance counselor though, so theyprobabaly just asked them for a students.
You can participate without spending a penny, ehich makes me feel better about it not being a scam.
We are thinking of sending both names in and not ordering the book..if they get some money for college it would be great and if it is a hoax we wouldn't be out any mpney.
