I'm blessed. At my school we get numerous opportunities for professional development. Our admins arrange a lot of things of that nature and we have half-days for the purpose from time to time. Granted, we do not have a particularly onerous renewal system for licensure. But again, the previous school I worked at left it up to us pretty much. There is a lot to be said for not having to arrange it yourself....
