    Facebook

Does anyone have Facebook? I got an account a while back to monitor my son's account.
A couple of people found me on it, then a couple more, and in the last two weeks several folks have become 'friends'. It's getting interesting.

    I do!
I got it so that I could catch up with my sister who works on cruise ships - its the only way she chooses to communicate.
I quite like it. I play HIGHLY intelligent games such as "Pet Society". I have a purple cat. Hee ehe.

    Same name as on here

I have one and it has been awesome. I started it several years ago but didn't do anything with it until the last year. It has been great to reconnect with friends and keep in touch.

    Re: Facebook

I've had one ever since Facebook went "public" a few years ago, but I never really did anything with mine until the past year or so. I think I might have even deleted my first one and started again.

I started out with the friends that I'm around most of the time, and then I expanded to people from high school, people from college, former students, and people I've met from various teacher sites.

I still have my MySpace, too, because some of my friends haven't ventured to Facebook. I do all my blogging on MySpace, and with their privacy settings I can pick who I want to be able to read my blogs.

Anyone can PM me if they want to be my friend on Facebook.

I joined a few weeks ago to keep up with pictures and such of my grandsons and a niece abroad. I like it in some respects, but it can really consume your time if you allow it. I keep getting all these gifts and it seems to take so long to "unwrap them" and respond.

Now I do have the one-minute Bejeweled Game on it. Now THERE is an advantage!

    Re: Facebook

Oh yes ... Facebook was opened for Norwegians Jan 1st. 07 However - I could use my studentID from Boston to sign up - and I have been a member since aug.04
Initially - FB was pretty straight forward - a search engine - with a new skin....
Lately - folks are tempted to add one application after the other- appilications that in no way are FB related .....
FB is - used wisely .- a great community - and ... check out my profile ...... 8O

    Re: Facebook

I went there once, sent by someone. I didn't understand what to do once I was there, or what the point of the site was.

    Care to explain? ops:
