Found my own answer - Federal Register has it posted today - thanks anyway
I am looking for information on the Federal Smaller Learning COmmunities Grant. The RFP was expected in November. I haven't seen it. Does anyone have information on this RFP?

Could you explain what is meant by small learning communities. Does this mean grants are available for small schools, private or public? I teach in a tiny (13 students) private Yeshiva and we have little or no regular budgeted funding for science equipment. If the small learning comm. grants apply to us please let me know how to apply.!
Thanks, Marty

Here is some information that might be of interest to you. Check out the Education World, NCEE, the Small Schools Project, and the Annenberg Challenge sites. Hopefully, you will find the answer there. There are much more that contain information about small learning communities. I would be happy to help you with that. Good luck!

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is another good place to apply for grant monies. They don't only do large projects. They are especially interested in projects that are inter-disiplinary in nature or orginate in more than one local or learning institution.
Later...
P.S. This is a great site!!!

You probably already know that the RFP is out now and available on line at the Federal Register. See the Small Schools Workshop's
website for more info at http://www.smallschools.com.
