Head home, Hogwild, head home! It's nasty out there, once you can make your way to the outside.
We're hosting the 7th and 8th grade conference basketball
championships at our school tonight. Both our teams are in
the championship games, so it should be fun.Plus, there's
Market Day in the gym right across from my room. I love
having the gym there, because I can cut through it and get
straight to the office. But nooooo, not tonight. Tonight
we're locked in. REALLY!! There's a chain holding the door
locked and shut!!! If I want to get to the "new gym" for
the game, I have to backtrack about 200 feet down the hall,
go up a set of steps to the second floor, go down three
hallways, come down another set of stairs, and go through
the lobby. Wait, it gets better. Once the Market Day is
over in about 1 1/2 hours, the lobby will be closed off. In
that case, it would be faster for me to go 200 feet down
the hall, get in my car, drive around to the front of the
building and go to the "activity" entrance. Sigh...Plus
it's snowing like crazy, so I don't know if I even want to
stay. It's looking pretty slick out there. Karen
