Hi everyone....I saw Bill's post at t.net and wanted to check this place out. I like what I see so far. I agree with most of the posts I've read here, in regards to the downhill slide of t.net.

I spent most of my time lurking because I just couldn't believe how off track some postings were. It went from very informative to almost comical at times to downright disrespectful. I'll still check the place out, but I'm sure glad to have another option.

Welcome to Teacher Focus. I think you'll find a lot of t.netters and former t.netters, (like yours truly), at this site.

One thing that I like about Teachers Focus is that members are required to register and user names are then automatically listed each time we post.

There are no anonymous flamers here!

And if you observe someone being flamed, please report this to a moderator. Derogratory and rude language is not permitted. Offenders will be warned. The offensive post will be deleted. Repeat offenders could even be banned.

The purpose of this site is to create a cyber community of educators who will be caring and supportive of each other - and people who put each other down are detrimental to the site's mission statement.
