Hey thought I should say hello

    Hello everyone!

I am a teaching assistant in a local private school, and teach to cover sickness.
I love my job, and since I was 15 I have had the intentions of becoming a fully qualified teacher. I am currently finishing off an NVQ3 in early years care & education. Its great to find a forum like this.
Before I worked in a private school I worked in a large Junior school, with a lot of problems and travellor families, but I learnt a heck of a lot there. Esp working with children with behaviour issues, which I really enjoy.

I am 22 and Live in the UK.
I have to many pets, and feel like an animal rescue sanctory.
    I have-
    5 cats
    1 dog
    3 rabbits
    6 guinea pigs

Anyway I really hope to get some good advice here!
Im torn between infant/junior teaching (but where I live the ratio of teachers to jobs is something like 50:1) Secondary teaching in ICT, I love computers, and ive had the chance of teaching it to secondary children. Or a midwife :\

Teaching path is gonna get me in debt big time to train, midwifery is free to train. Plus midfery is local, teacher training is a 100 mile round trip daily for 3 terms :\
Ive got a while to make my mind up yet tho, so we shall see.

    Welcome Zalensia

I just love how the sound of your handle rolls off of the tongue! Glad to have you on board! Good luck with your choice in teaching or midwifery.

Check out the pet board on this site!
