    Holy moly we did it all . . .

    Today the kids and I:

    cleaned our rooms/changed linens
    washed, dried, folded, put away laundry
    got their suitcases out of top of shed
    got one of them packed for camp tomorrow
    vacuumed
    dusted
    cleaned kitchen
    re-arranged front porch
    went to flower shop and Walmart to buy lots of flowers (Walmart's were just as good and cheaper)
    made one big beautiful table top flower arrangement
    made two beautiful mini rose in bubble glass arrangements (one pink and white, one dark pink and orange/yellow roses)
    made 2 other medium table top flower arrangements
    cleansered scuff marks off kitched floor
    cleaned both bathrooms
    kids wrote their essays on DC trip that is due tomorrow
    one kid practiced trumpet

    Whew! All the mad rush cleaning and flower stuff is because I want to have the house looking nice tomorrow for my anniversary - I want a spa-like atmosphere (cheap) and the kids will be gone to camp and we'll have the house to ourselves around 5 pm tomorrow!

    It looks pretty darn good in here! I can't believe I did it all, and I'm looking forward to being able to relax in bed all day Monday (that's our plan).

    Now if only I had time to get some food in for tomorrow . . . .

    If you have any energy left over,

    Come on over to my house! We've been at a Lacrosse tournament all weekend and I said to another mother today that I hated the idea of going home to my house, because I just knew that the housecleaning fairy hadn't been there. But then in the last game when my son got hit in the hand, my first thought was, "do I go to the Er today when I have time or wait until tomorrow, when there will be no time?" Well it looks like we can wait a day or two.
    School will be out in three days and I plan on doing a whirlwind house cleaning like you. So where did you get the energy?

    Wow! I haven't done that much in one day since I was taking large doses of Prednisone. I had WAAAYYY too much energy taking that stuff.

    Want to come tackle my attic? I'm afraid of the stairs, so I don't want to go up in there. You might find some real treasures!

    Have a GREAT day!! order in some food at the local deli and then run pick it up. or place an order at a restaurant and go pick that up. who wants to take the time to shop and cook on such a special day!!
