Hurray! My new passwords finally words. . .

It was really hard to sign in with all that nonsense of letters sent to me to replace whatever password I signed in with in March. I changed it yesterday and it did not work until just now. I had to keep going to saved email to find the assigned password they sent me. So grateful to have one I have memorized again.

    Paulie . . .
going to try posting a photo again and if it doesn't work, hope someone with expertise will help me. I have tried so many things already.

If this works, it is a bell tower that rings at every hour of the day and also at 9:00, 12:00 and 3:00, it has these little metal puppets that come out and give the story of the Indians that lived in this area with a recording. The new city owned Hilton is behind it. Before that, it was the old greyhound depot. The belltower is at the entrance to a city park which is lively nowadays with people. . . used to be a hangout for hobos and scary to walk through when the old brewery was along side of it. Now there are condos and business places and a farmer's market (year round) and the hotel surrounding the park. It has a rose garden where I am constantly taking photos too. Anyway, just trying to feel comfortable posting here and hope I am not being too much a nusiance to anyone.

Paulie, praying it works -- it looks like it did in the preview. . . hope I changed some things in profile to get this far.

    It worked!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it worked but I apologize for the new typos. I fixed the original post and then added that last sentence and was so shocked to see my photo in the preview that I forgot to check the typos from typing fast. sorry

Please excuse my typos in the heading and inside too -- one day I will get used to posting here and remember to check my typos everywhere. Sorry again!

The tree is at the traffic circle on Evergreen and Fort Vancouver way, by Officer's Row.

Obviously, I don't get to downtown very often (I think I've passed by the bell tower once).

    It's a small world!

Wouldn't it be strange if you're teaching at the school I'm subbing at today?

Unfortunately, I am not teaching this year. Last year, I was the Kindergarten teacher in a new Lutheran school. This year, they made that position also be the administrator and since, I don't have admin degree, I lost my job. I can't bring myself to sub again YET. I have subbed 9 years and taught 7 years with my own classroom. Are you subbing for Vancouver or Evergreen SD or both?

I can understand not wanting to go back to subbing. I'm already more than ready to be a "real" teacher.

I sub in both districts. My dad teaches in the Battle Ground district, and he wanted me to sub there, but they pay less, and it's a longer drive, so...for now, I'm good with Evergreen and Vancouver.

I have a problem with that part -- I think subs are real teachers. . . but I know what you mean. That is neat to have a parent in education also.

Ok where is this photo taken?
