    Hurricane Isabel

    Hi all,
ARe there any others out there who have just gone through the hurricane. I live in Virginia Beach and there are still over a million people without power!!..trees down..roofs damaged..what a mess.

Looking forward to getting back to school..although who knows when that will be.

    Hope your ok!

I'm on the opposite coast; no hurricanes here, although we had a couple or rare tornados this spring.

Thanks for your note Kelly...we're fine here... we have electricity...but still many are without. A teacher I work with has been without for 6 days now.. and they don't have a generator. Our school has no power either.. so it'll be at least another day before school begins. My sons are out at college and felt no effects of the storm. I am sure my students will have stories to tell, however.

    Take care!
