I just have to brag on myself.

    I can't help myself . . . I just have to brag for a second.

I've been in my closet searching for my black gaucho pants, and I ended up in boxes that went into storage 5 years ago.

    Here's the bragging part--

I was able to get into my favorite Gap pants and denim skirt again!

    Woo-hoo!!

It's taken FIVE YEARS to shed most of the 70 pounds I put on when I was sick in 2001. Not there yet, but darn it I'm getting there!

Yea Ima! It's so hard to shed any unwanted weight. I've finally gotten off all of my baby weight, but I'd still like to shed a few more for myself. It's a whole lot more motivational to me to lose more weight if I put on something that used to fit or a smaller size, than it is for something to be too tight. Not sure that makes sense...

    Anyways, YIPPEE for you!

Congratulations!! Doesnt it feel good? I lost 100 pounds over the course of 2 years, and I am working on the last bit.

I am so happy for you!!

    Congratulations!

I've been steadily maintaining a ... er-hum "comfortable" weight for the past five or six years.

I actually lost about ten pounds after I became an innkeeper - simply from having to run up and down three flights of stairs throughout the day ... but I've since stabilized ...

Would you believe that I once had a 28 inch waist? That was several sizes and many many years ago ...

Good for you. SO what is your secret?

The Doc has told me that I need to "quit eating my stress, and stop grazing".

I heard the same thing from my doctor. He told me to exercise ... so I lift weights.

You ought to watch me bench press those quarter pounders ... (GRIN)

Put a large milk shake in your other hand and you have a total arm routine.
