    I love days like this!

I really enjoy days when things go right according to plans. I was kind of worried because we had snow flurries this morning and I had projects planned for the day.

However, the snow wasn't enough to distract them, and they've worked SOOOO well today . . . a little chatty, but not "bad" behaviors.

They've been pretty funny, too. On Wednesday we'd talked about ads, and I mentioned that the Mucinex ads are completely gross and that little cartoon mucus guy makes me want to gag just looking as him. . . so today while they were looking through magazines, one of them finds a Mucinex ad, cuts out the cartoon, and brings it to me. Goofy kids. LOL

I'm glad you ae having a good day. Most of my students are in gym. My 5th grader with autism refuses to go to gym. I'm down paras so her 1:1 para had to go with the rest of the class. Even if she decides to go to gym I can't leave because they put an ISS kid in my room. So, I'm not able to do any copying, handing out noteconfs, or even go to the bathroom because I'm stuck in my classroom with them. Lovely.

However, yesterday was my day. My 5 students who are learning to write their names did so with little to no help when they were signing in on the blackboard. They worked on math worksheets and actually completed them correctly. They played catch together without teasing or leaving anyone out.

We too had a great day ! Every single one of the 500 students (k1 - k7 )went skiing !

Often when events like these are planned - the snow melts away - BUT this time we had snow, 29 F , no wind, sun and 500 smiles !!!

Days like today are days I will remember for ever.
