Flurries and snow showers are predicted for tomorrow. A wintry mix is predicted for Wednesday into Thursday.
Enough already. I live in the South for one reason, and snow isn't the reason!
Looks like we might get more snow tonight. We've had some flurries today. We're under a snow advisory until 6 in the morning, with 1-3 inches predicted. Of course, we got NOTHING last time they predicted snow--although we did get a day off since it apparently snowed SOMEWHERE in the district.
I want to SEE some snow on the ground. . . one of those kinds where you can't still see the grass through it.

Hey, Ima, we got TWO snowless snow days off -- Thursday made sense, but Friday sure didn't! They're saying we might get flurries tonight, starting any time now, but I'm not counting on it. Besides, I can survive five more school days till Christmas ;-)
And I sure as heck don't want them to extend this semester until after Christmas! I'm ready to get this one over and start with a new crop of kids in most of my classes next month!
We don't want any more snow. No. No more snow! It is not winter yet and I keep shoveling away and trying to break the ice off of the wipers.
The red hot deicer liquid leaked in my back floor, so that reaks with the smell.

I might cry if I have to get my 6th graders back after Christmas. :cry:Originally Posted by jme

Yuck. . . that stuff stinks! I got mine on my gloves last year. Ick!! The first time I needed it this year, it was INSIDE the car. . . which didn't do me much good with the doors frozen shut. :roll:Originally Posted by Bananas

Snow? What's that?

We got another snow day today, but we're not sure where the snow WAS because it sure wasn't at our house. I ran by school to feed my fish, and the principal asked if I was snowed in this morning.
DH and I got out and did a few errands, and we did pass soem cars with snow on them, so I guess there WAS snow somewhere.
Who knows if we'll go tomorrow. It looks about like it did this morning, and we didn't go.

Well, I found out this morning that I do have to have my "difficult" group back for a week after Christmas -- they're extending the semester through that first week back.Originally Posted by Ima Teacher
