Welcome!
Hello, wanted to introduce myself in a new thread. I'm new to these boards and am not a teacher, but am in my mid-20's and still exploring careers. So I'm hoping to learn a bit from these boards and hopefully contribute as well! I mentioned in my other post that my mother is a teacher (first she was a 2nd grade teacher, now she is a college professor), so I have a lot of respect for the profession. To tell you a bit more about me, I live in VA, love to travel, and am always looking for a good book to read.
Looking forward to chatting with all of you!
Welcome!

Lucy - (curiousmind) -sent a message to the eceOL-list in December 2001 - telling about a new forum she was setting up. I did sound interesting and a month later I was a moderator . By then we had just said hello to our member no. 100 !When did you join?
Seriously - This forum has set a standard for similar foras hhere in Europe. I live in Norway and many of the ideas once launched by Lucy have been of great importace to me - setting up a Norwegian teachers-forum.
I'll advice you to explore the options on this forum.
A long time ago we did try out something that was very exciting - the remains are still to be found on the menu-bar : Newsletter !
Sadly - only 12 issues reached the members - BUT these can still be read - if you click "newsletter"
