    2 more days!

I can't wait until testing is over. My eighth graders were great yesterday! But by tomorrow, things could have changed. What is bad is the mixed up schedule. We don't get a.m. planning, which is okay. But my body is used to breakfast during that time! We aren't giving homework this week, so study hall is, well, interesting. Next week we have 3 full days, then a career day at the local community college and a COGS day on Friday to go bowling at NIU. Then spring break. I can't wait. Oh, Bananas, root for Winnebago! They won at the Convo center last night. It'd be great having a team from our conference go all the way. Karen

Yea Bananas!!! the week is half over - does that mean testing is half over for you?

What a hump day for me - the tale of two parents... one saying I have to help her child - one on one - I'm not doing what the child needs in class, so I must do something else, meet this childs needs, no matter what the needs of 19 others... - another saying she is so thrilled at her child's enjoyment in of my class - he talks about it all the time and how it just seems to click for him - she has no idea what he is talking about, but talking about it with self confidence and pride at accomplishing a hard task - how its changed his mind a bit about college choices and majors, how he has learned to manage his time and effort due to the challenge.

I guess I cannot win them all, but nice to know I won one.

perhaps your test scores will give you positive feedback!!
