PBS Documentary: Auschwitz--Inside the Nazi State

In case someone has watched the PBS documentary Auschwitz: Inside the Nazi State these poems I found on the net might be of interest.

Charles, I missed that program. Such a terribly emotional topic. How was the program? How did they handle the horrors that happened there?

I read a couple of the poems. Very touching.

    Arrow Unknown Girl in Auschwitz

    Unknown Girl in Auschwitz
    by Charles L. Cingolani

    She was fifteen
    when they dragged her out
    a cellar window
    in Göttingen
    where she had spent
    two years
    in hiding.

    She wasn't much
    to look at
    but she could love,
    and now
    in the line
    to the gas chamber
    her only thought was
    her Lover
    she knew
    was waiting
    to embrace her,
    tenderly.

    And Thomas
    on seeing her face
    felt God closer here
    than in any other place.

I attended a symposium last summer at my alma mater- Appalachian State- on the Holocaust. I found it a highly worthwhile experience, not to mention worth 4 CEUs. I got to meet some Holocaust survivors and to learn a lot. It takes 4 days of your summer, but it was worth every minute. Here's a link- if you could get there, I encourage you to go. Here's a couple of links:
