1) Share no more than two paragraphs of the article.
2) Include the author's name.
3) Include a link to the site where you found the article so that viewers may read the article in its entirety.
Do not cut and paste the full text of an article that you have not written. Posting a copy of an article without an author’s permission is a copyright infringement.
The United States “No Electronic Theft Act NET Act is a federal law that was passed in 1997. It provides for criminal prosecution of individuals who engage in copyright infringement even when there is no monetary profit. Maximum penalties can be three years in a Federal prison and up to $250,000 in fines. Statutory damages of up to $150,000 for each violation may also be assessed.
Although Teacher Focus appreciates the fact that some of you would like to share articles of interest to our community, we encourage you to share these articles without violating the author's rights.
