Teacher Appreciation Week Febuary 14th to the 18th

Hello everyone we are having our local teacher appreciation week Febuary 14th to the 18th and I think this is a very important week which we need to recognize.
Giving inservices to teachers I ofen see the lack of appreciation both students and parents have for the honest efforts of teachers and how they really do want to make a difference in a child's life.
Would you please join me in recognizing Teacher Appreciation Week here in Montreal Febuary 14th to the 18th?

    Thanks your thoughts please?

I give workshops and inservice training to elementary schoolteachers when they get a sight impaired or blind child mainstreamed within a regular classroom environment, i also self publish resource material for the classroom teacher on the topic.

Re Hello Jenny I Did Not Get the Job

Hello Jenny unfortunately I did not get the job at PC Mall Canada but here is my plan B.
i am getting a toll free number installed here at home so that teachers who are ordering my resource manual by telephone will no longer have to pay long distance charges for it.
I am also putting together a huge website with details on my workshops and inservice training offered to teachers as well as my manual info.
I am going to go all out and make this happen.
    Talk to you soon,
    Take care and thanks

Dave, that sounds exciting. Will that number work from the US too?

    Hi Dave,

Glad to see you back! I know, I know, you just joined today, but I remember your posts back in 2002 (BTW, they are still there) and your article in Teacher Focus Monthly. Dave MontrealCan, right?

Hope you visit us often and don't disappear again.

    Welcome back!

Our PTF doesn't just do a week for teacher recognition - they do a month. They bring in lunch each Wed (which is the day with long lunch). It isn't respect for the profession exactly, but it does taste good - chicken and shrimp salads, fruit and deserts were the fare this week.

That is also the week the newspaper announces the STAR students and teachers. I'm still so astonished to be one of these this year

pardon me while I preen here....
