    We set a record today!

    Guess what we did today?

    We had PERFECT ATTENDANCE!!

We had never done that before . . . at least we hadn't done it since we'd had grades 6-8 in the same building. Pretty amazing considering that we always have our fair share of kids who miss frequently. Maybe the lure of air conditioning and the fact that their parents want them out of the house after the summer played a part.

They took the entire school outside and took a picture at the school sign. They also got ice pops . . . which were very good in the upper 90 temps with the over 100 heat index.

And if you've never taken 600 middle school kids outside to pose for a picture in 100 degree temps, you've really missed out on a treat.

    Good for all of you!

I imagine you are tired! I have missed your presence here and on another front. You have been very busy.
