Ima, I like/liked some, but not tons of the heavy metal. What groups are you talking about?

No, you're not the only head banger. I just find myself to be too old to do it for very long 8) I still keep up with a lot of the new stuff but pretty much only listen to it when I'm in a really bad mood or feeling spunky. Except Metalica, I'm always up for some Metalica.

    Headbangers. . .

Hey. . . glad to know I'm not the only headbanger!

Let's see. . . I liked Motley Crue, Slaughter, Winger, Kiss, Ozzy, Metallica, AC/DC, and Def Leppard, just to name a few. I've seen lots of concerts, and it's a wonder I can still hear.

I have an "rock" Italian charm bracelet that has charms for all the bands I've seen perform live. I don't usually wear it to work, but I did the other day. One of my "goth girls" happened to notice it while I was helping her with her assignment. Once she found out that I had actually been to those concerts, she was amazed. Finally she announced, "Hey, guys, Mrs. Hill used to be cool."

    USED TO BE?!?

Geez. . . Nothing like the perspective of a 12 year old to put you in your place, is it?

You should have seen my step daughter when I told her I was going to Oz fest with her two years ago 8O . Bummer, I ended up not being able to go though.

Used to be cool, too funny. Have you heard that 1984 song on the pop stations? I can relate.

Springstein, Madonna, way before Nirvana... Something about there still being music on MTV. When did reality become TV... It's a hoot.

I used to wait for the Friday night Headbanger's ball. I can't remember now if that was MTV or some other station. The last time I tuned in MTV I discovered Ozzy was an actor, just like that 1984 song. Just cracked me up. That's what my mother used to wig out about? He's looking like the prince of Geritol these days. I do still like his older music though.

Okay, I won't use the kerosene, I wasn't keen on it anyway, my OCD thoughts were worrying me over it, and you guys confirmed it's not a good idea. So THANKS or I would have been worrying over whether or not I should do it, I worry far too much!!
    Thanks guys 8)
