I like the way the board is set up. It's easy to read and easy to get the latest posts.

Is it possible to have the posts go from newest to oldest rather than the other way around? I know there's a way to do that at the bottom of each thread but you have to do it each time and with each thread.

BTW, good to know about logging off by clicking the login button again.
If you can't be kind, at least be vague.

Unfortunately, not - at least, now. I am planning to have this forum updated soon; hope the next version to be more flexible.

    New ideas

I would like to see a webpage broken down into sections of websites with links according to subjects. One where someone could add one. No junk or jokes etc. Strictly one for educational purposes.

Thats not easy to answer because this place has its own culture and I'm new to it. I've seen features I really like at other sites but that's them and they have drawbacks too. I just got here and I'm trying it out so I'm not offering any ideas.
The folks here seem nice and thats OK by me. If I can have some good dialogues thats the best thing to have by my lights.[/img]

Year ago - about the time Teacherfocus changed "skin" and became a PhP forum - you wrote that lots of posts were lost - You would not happen to recall the date this did happen ??
-at that time I did print out all the messages -

AND - for some reason the autoreply to posts I am watching does not seem to work -any longer.

Can you get this fixed ?

    Hi Olav,

I believe the forum platform has been changed in April 2002. At that time, as far as I remember, we lost messages posted over the 24-hour interval.

Concerning the View Topics notification: yesterday, the forum has been upgraded. The View Topic option should work OK; however, it probably would notify you only about topics posted after the upgrade. You might want to manually review your favorite topics and click Watch this topic for replies link on each (this link can be found at the bottom left of each thread).

Please let me know whether it works; if not, some adjustments will be needed.

    Thanks!

    Yippee!

I am getting the topic notifications again about a thread being updated! Yes!
