    Zelma and Lisa in Victoria

    Zelma and her hub were in North America for a few weeks, and I got the opportunity to meet them on the day they came over to Victoria from Seattle. Although rain threatened for much of the morning, we didn't even need the 'brollies I brought along. We toured an amazing old mansion called [url=http://www.thecastle.ca/]Craigdarroch Castle[/url]

    And then a visit to TWO Christmas shops. (Don't ask me why someine who has Christmas in the Summer LOVES Christmas, but she does! )

    The small people and I left them after the "Christmas Shopping" to wander through the Museum before getting back on their ferry.

    It was a super day!

    Lisa, I only just saw this. Sorry my response is a little late. We've been back for two weeks, but the first week was a blur as I was SO tired from the holiday. The second week was also a blur as I have picked up a cold. Not exactly what I wanted to return to. Thankfully we have less than 7 weeks left of our school year, so I should be OK. Oh, I also have a student teacher in for those weeks, so that should help. She has been in a number of times already and I have NO doubt that she will be great.

    I LOVE the picture. Thank you for posting it. We had such a wonderful time with you and your lovely kids. Spending the day with you was so special. Thanks for showing us around. By the way, your museum is FANTASTIC. Puts ours to shame.

    I hope your graduation was perfect.

    Great pix! I'm always envious when any of us get to meet and I'm not one of the any!

    Looking forward to hearing more about your special day. I can tell by the picture that you are already FAR more inteliigent. :lol: It must be the outfit.

    I love that you and Zelma were able to get together and Zelma, I know that you saw jennyi. I am a bit jealous, but..... Zelma: the boomerang you sent me is still a focal point in my classroom. One of my kids even wrote a story about it (alas: not a very good one, but at least he was inspired to write.).
